Terms of Use

Effective as of July 1, 2025

Thank you for choosing the services of Assur&Mat. We are pleased to inform and advise you on insurance matters. This Agreement constitutes a binding agreement between Assur&Mat insurance strategies inc. and you, the User, and outlines the terms and conditions governing your access to and use of the Site and the Services.

 

Agreement, Purpose & Acceptance

This Agreement applies as soon as you access the Site, use the Services, create a user account, or electronically confirm your acceptance. By accessing or using the Site or the Services, you represent and warrant that you are a Canadian resident, have reached the age of majority in your province, and are authorized to accept this Agreement on behalf of yourself or the business you represent. If you do not accept all the terms of this Agreement, are not a Canadian resident, or are under the age of 13, you are not authorized to use the Site or the Services. If you are between 13 and the age of majority, you may only use the Site or Services under parental supervision.

 

Definitions

• Assur&Mat: Assur&Mat insurance strategie inc., a Ontario corporation offering the Site and Services.

• Agreement: These terms and conditions of use.

• Data: Any information created, shared, or stored through the Site or Services.

• Credentials: Username and password issued by Assur&Mat.

• Products: Tangible and intangible products offered on the Site (e.g., Excel or PDF files).

• Services: As described in Section 3 of this Agreement.

• Site: The website assurmat.ca.

• You / User: Any individual or entity using the Site and Services with Credentials.

 

Description of Services

Services include (i) information on our Site ("Content"), (ii) educational or strategic videos ("Capsules"), and (iii) consultation hours with advisors ("Consultations").

 

 

Prices & Payment Methods

Transactions are processed by third-party payment services. You agree to provide required payment details and accept the terms of these third-party services. Prices are listed in Canadian dollars, excluding taxes.

 

Refunds

All sales of Products and Capsules are final. Consultations are refundable only with a 72-hour written notice. Assur&Mat reserves the right to refuse refunds in case of abuse.

 

Orders, Accounts & Credentials

Access to Capsules and Consultations requires valid Credentials. Users are responsible for activity using their Credentials and must ensure their security. Notify Assur&Mat immediately at info@assurmat.ca if you suspect a breach.

 

Personal Information

Your personal data is processed according to our [Privacy Policy]. By using our Services, you consent to such use.

 

Data Submission & Authorization

By submitting Data, you:

• Warrant that you have the right to share it.

• Agree to keep it accurate and updated.

• Grant Assur&Mat a non-exclusive, worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use it for service delivery.

Confidential data is treated in accordance with our confidentiality obligations.

 

Intellectual Property

You are granted no rights to the Site’s technology, design, text, content, or media. Reproduction, redistribution, or use of our Content, Products, or Capsules without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

Use of trademarks, logos, and brand elements is prohibited without express permission.

 

Informational Content & Advice

Content and Capsules are for informational purposes only. Users should consult an insurance professional before making decisions. Services do not constitute the sale of insurance and carry no obligation of result.

Links to third-party content are not controlled by Assur&Mat.

Access to Services requires internet or phone; associated costs are the User’s responsibility.

 

 

Service Availability

We aim for high availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may suspend services for maintenance, updates, or technical issues.

 

Non-Disparagement

You agree not to deliberately harm the reputation of Assur&Mat or its staff.

 

Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Assur&Mat provides Services using appropriate resources and diligence. We disclaim all warranties and limit liability to the amount paid by you in the past 12 months. We do not guarantee insurance eligibility or policy improvements.

Users are solely responsible for evaluating their insurance needs and options.

 

Permitted Use & Restrictions

You may only use the Services:

• For personal or internal business use

• Within the scope of your subscription

• In compliance with this Agreement and applicable laws

Prohibited actions include redistribution, resale, unauthorized access, or disrupting the Site. Assur&Mat may revoke access for misuse.

General Provisions

Modifications: We may update this Agreement. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance.

Severability: Unenforceable provisions will be removed; the rest remains in effect.

No Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver.

Assignment: You may not assign this Agreement without our consent. We may assign it without notice.

Governing Law: This Agreement is governed by the laws of Ontario. Any dispute shall be brought before the courts in the district of Toronto.
